Alpine Linux has recently starting providing pre-release builds of PHP 8.5 on their edge images. We’ve added this image to Probo.CI for your convenience in beginning to test your sites with PHP 8.5. This image will now be part of our routine updates to the Probo.CI images. This means when PHP 8.5 goes into a release state, it will be available from day one. To use this image, include the following image at the top of your .probo.yaml file.

image: proboci/alpine:php8.5

All of the other dependency applications remain the same (SOLR, MariaDB, Redis, Apache, etc). The change is as of this writing, there is no PHP 8.5 extension for opcache. We expect this to be available by the time PHP 8.5 goes into a release state. Watch this page as we will update it with additional information as it becomes available.

For more information on the updates to our images including any SOLR or other changes, please contact Probo Support with any questions or concerns related to this issue.
